I am currently a teaching assistant at Université de Paris. I take this year to teach and complete the work started during my PhD in Applied Mathematics in Statistics in the laboratoire MAP5. My thesis was supervised by Etienne Birmelé, Professor at MAP5, Vittorio Perduca, Associate professor at MAP5 and Flora Alarcon, Associate professor at MAP5.

PhD subject

I am working on causal mediation analysis with applications in epidemiology. Mediation analysis is a statistical technique designed to identify and quantify the direct effect of a treatment on a disease and the indirect effect of that treatment through another variable called a mediator.

I am interested in the case of multiple mediators by distinguishing between causal and non-causal relationships between mediators. I also work on the classification of mediators and on the selection of large-scale mediators.

I am developing an R package, allowing the use of my different methods. This package is available onGithub.

I applied my results to studies in epidemiology and psychiatry. This allowed me to study the effect of tobacco on lung cancer through methylation. Then hormone therapy effect on breast cancer through breast density and body mass index. As well as the effect of affective temperaments on anorexia nervosa through depression and anxiety.
