Short Biography
Osman SALEM is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Paris Descartes University. He is a member of LIPADE laboratory, within the RMS research group. He obtained the engineering degree in 2001, a Master of Science degree in Networks & Telecommunications from ENSEIHT in 2002, and a PhD in 2006. In 2007, he joins ENST Bretagne (Telecom Bretagne) as postdoctoral researcher on Network Security and Intrusion Detection (OSCAR Project funded by the National Research Agency), and in 2008 as Researcher and Development Engineer on VoIP. Since 2008, he is an associate professor in Paris Descartes University. His main interest in research concerns network security, penetration testing, intrusion detection and prevention, security of WBAN in medical applications.
