by train
Most of our travelling in India is by train, and this page is a tribute to
this fact. Trips tend to take longer
this way, but the journey is rewarding. We get to chat with the local
people, see the countryside, observe the maintenance work on the
railway system, take a glimpse on brick manufacturing, and, in
general, waste loads of photographic film.
